We offer two types of guided group tours: with transport included or a self-drive option.

The guided tour with transport is perfect for those seeking a magical evening of astronomy, nature, and comfort. We’ll pick you up and take you on a scenic sunset drive through Gran Canaria’s dramatic mountain landscapes, passing deep canyons and charming villages, stopping at some stunning viewpoints along the way before heading to the sunset viewpoint: Mirador de las Picos de las Nieves

Perched at 1948m above sea level, this viewpoint offers spectacular views above the clouds, with both Teide in Tenerife and Pico de las Nieves in Gran Canaria in sight. Enjoy a glass of cava or juice as you take in the breathtaking sunset above the clouds. Afterward, we’ll head deeper into the island’s rugged interior to the remote stargazing site at Llanos de la Pez for a magical night under the stars.

Includes a professional night sky photo of you under the stars using expert Astrophotography techniques.

The self-drive option offers the same experience, but with the freedom to drive yourself there and stay as long as you like.

We really enjoyed the whole evening with Diego. Communication after booking is via WhatsApp until Diego arrived to collect us at our hotel where there was immediately a warm and friendly face and very knowledgeable, his English is very good. There is quite a lot of driving if you are based in the south of the island. It took around an hour to collect all the participants and then another hour to the sunset viewpoint. We were lucky to have a relatively clear night so could see across to Tenerife and Mount Tiede. Diego had some stories of the villages and towns that we passed through, these titbits were light hearted and enjoyable. We had to go to an alternative star gazing location due to some cloud cover that came in, we really enjoyed the experience and the equivalent and Diegos knowledge were professional standard. Clearly, keen and passionate about his subject. Caution there is a long drive and there are no toilet facilities be prepared to hide behind a bush!

Der Tagesausflug inkl. Transport mit Diego waren top! Diego ist ein guter und erfahrener Tour Guide, der ein crazy Fahrer zugleich ist (Respekt an die Fahrt mit den unzähligen Kurven). Es war ein atemberaubendes Erlebnis, was sich definitiv gelohnt hatte und ich nochmals machen würde, wenn ich wieder in Gran Canaria sein sollte.

Wij hebben een hele leuke avond gehad. Wij zijn zelf met de auto naar het ontmoetingspunt gereden en hebben daar eerst een prachtige zonsondergang gezien. Vervolgens zijn we door gegaan om naar de sterren te kijken. Wij hebben er enorm van genoten, we hebben heel veel informatie gekregen van Diego over verschillende sterren en sterrenbeelden. Het was een hele leuke, magische en leerzame avond. Zeker een aanrader!

Der Guide war super nett und hat auf der Fahrt nach oben auch einige Informationen über die Ortschaften erzählt. Wir haben uns trotz enger und steiler Straßen sehr sicher gefühlt. Außerdem hat er viele interessante Geschichten zu den Sternbildern erzählt. Leider war es etwas bewölkt, aber zwischendurch war immer ein Teil des Sternenhimmels sichtbar und der Guide war sehr flexibel und konnte sein Programm so anpassen, dass wir immer etwas Neues gelernt und gesehen haben. Natürlich möchte ich hier nicht spoilern! Ich würde die Tour auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen!

Będziemy bardzo długo pamiętać tę wycieczkę. Zachód słońca na Pico de las Nieves robi wrażenie i rzeczywiście warto pokonać kręt� drogę żeby to zobaczyć. Po zachodzie słońca pojechaliśmy ogl� dać gwiazdy. Niebo nie zawiodło naszych oczekiwań. Przewodnik fajnie przekazywał wiedzę, dzielił się z grup� ciekawostkami na temat tego co widać na niebie, odpowiadał na pytania, Można było obserwować niebo przez teleskopy. Bardzo nam się podobała ta wycieczka. Córka która interesuje się tematem gwiazd zakończyła wycieczkę szcześliwa. Polecamy!

Alles was top! Beginnend bij het vervoer. Daniel haalde ons op aan het hotel en we kregen meteen een warm welkom. Hij nam de tijd om ons te leren kennen en omdat je met een kleine groep bent, hangt er een heel gezellige sfeer. We voelde ons enorm veilig bij hem in de auto en genoten al op en top van de rit alleen al. Daarna stopten we op 2 punten en keken we de zonsondergang. De gidsen zorgde voor cava en daar kwamen we helemaal tot rust. Daarna gingen we stargazen en dat was de cherry on the top. Gids Diego leerde ons vanalles kennen over het heelal. Zijn enthousiasme was prachtig om te zien. Ondanks er wat wolken waren deden ze er alles aan om ons de mooiste dingen te kunnen laten zien. Een echte aanrader!!

We had an amazing experience which exceeded our expectations. Daniel made us feel very comfortable on the drive. There was music playing and we even learnt some history about the island as we passed through the mountains! We stopped for a break to take some pictures and have prosecco or juice and then continued our journey to the star gazing point. Diego informed us about different constellations, the names of the stars and interesting facts about them. He was extremely knowledgable and kept us all engaged. 10/10 must do!

Es war sehr schön, Transport ohne Probleme mit Infos über die Orte die durchfahren wurden. Der Sonnenuntergang war sehr schön und eine spektakuläre Kulisse. Getränke wurden angeboten und die Musik auf der Fahrt hat immer zur Aussicht gepasst. Der Sternenhimmel war sehr schön und wir haben viel über die Sterne und die Unterschiede zwischen Früher und Heute erfahren. Von den Teleskopen haben wir uns mehr erhofft, darüber hätten wir uns aber selbst informieren können. Auf Nahaufnahmen der betrachteten Objekten muss man aber trotzdem nicht verzichten, da die Guides davon teilweise hoch entwickelte Fotos zeigen. Die Fotos die mit der speziellen Kamera gemacht wurden sind unglaublich und alleine dafür hat es sich gelohnt. Alles in einem also auf jeden Fall ein sehr guter Ausflug, vor Allem wenn man sich für Sterne interessiert.

Once in a lifetime experience. Led by wonderfully friendly and very knowledgeable guides. Lots of opportunities for amazing photos and beautiful views of sunset and the night sky. We got to see the Milky Way with the naked eye and witnessed the best shooting star I’ve ever seen! Highly recommend this tour.

Das Programm war der Hammer. Ein toller Abend und sehr zu empfehlen. Die Abholung war etwas spät mit 19.00 Uhr und der Fahrer ist den Berg rasant nach oben gefahren. Die Fahrt war nichts für einen schwachen Magen.

Es war eine wundervolle Tour. Diego, der Guide, ist in den Bergen super sicher gefahren. Er hatte tolle Tipps und Informationen für uns und war sehr freundlich. Den langsamen Sonnenuntergang von den Bergen oben zu sehen war wunderschön. Besonders die Erfahrung in der Nacht mit dem sehr modernen Teleskop war genial. Diego hat uns so viel über die Sterne erzählt, die wir durch das Teleskop sehen konnten und es war dabei immer lustig, aber auch immer mit sehr viel fundiertem astronomischen Wissen. Eine Tour und Reise durch den Weltraum, die sich unbedingt lohnt. Ich werde jetzt jedenfalls den großen Bären, den Polarstern und viele andere Himmelskörper auch zu Hause am Himmel erkennen. Un peu plus près des étoiles... pour oublier l’apesanteur sur Terre ! Une soirée tout simplement mémorable avec Daniel et Diego, les guides astronomes de Stargazing GC. La soirée débute par un magnifique coucher de soleil depuis le point culminant de l’île : le Pico de las Nieves. Direction ensuite le spot d’observation. Diego nous y présente la voûte céleste avec passion, mêlant l'histoire des astres, des constellations, des planètes et des galaxies... L'observation au télescope et à l’œil nue est magique : la beauté de l’univers et de notre Voie lactée se dévoile sous nos yeux. Une très belle soirée, un grand merci à l'équipe !

The tour ran smoothly from start to finish. We used the pickup option, and our ride showed up on time to our location. The sunset stop we made was amazing (probably the beat sunset I have ever seen) and the stargazing was fantastic!
