You’ll be picked up directly from or near your accommodation in the south of Gran Canaria. Enjoy a peaceful drive past mountain canyons, palm tree oases, and picturesque Canarian villages like Arteara, Fataga, and San Bartolomé de Tirajana. Our first stop is the stunning Mirador Astronómico de la Degollada de las Yeguas, overlooking what’s often called the Grand Canyon of Gran Canaria. Take in the views and snap some photos before we continue the journey into the island’s rugged interior.
After the scenic drive, we arrive at our remote stargazing site near the small village of La Plata. Here, you’ll enjoy a glass of cava or juice, with the Pico de las Nieves as your backdrop, while our expert team set up the telescopes. The changing colours of the sky provide a perfect backdrop for relaxation.
With little light pollution and clear island skies, this is one of the best stargazing locations in the world.
